This was related to me by my co-worker and fellow night auditor, Courtney.
Two guests came to the front desk and asked Courtney if there was anything strange going on at the hotel. Courtney asked them what they meant by strange. They wanted to know if the hotel was haunted.
The two guests reported that late on the previous evening, they were in bed watching t.v. when the drapes started to move violently, as if someone was trying to pull them open. They investigated and there was no draft of any kind to make the drapes move at all.
They also reported waking up all night long and seeing "bright balls of light flying around the room."
Of course, I had to know which room this incident occurred in. It happened in a room in a wing of the hotel where guests have reported other stories of strange occurrences, so I was not surprised.
However, this was the first time any of us have heard about "bright balls of light flying around the room."
On a side note, they checked out that morning and came back that evening to stay with us another night.
